As a wedding photographer, one of the most asked questions I receive is, “What are the pros and cons of a first look?” Well – there is an endless list of pros and no cons. There are two main reasons to do a first look. First, you get to experience the most intimate and memorable moment together with your future spouse, alone, with no one watching – it’s YOUR moment together, soak it in. Second, you can finish all of your photos before the actual ceremony. This saves time and keeps everyone looking fresh after just having finished getting ready.
